Washington State Quarter Horse Association held its
Annual Northwest Emerald Classic Quarter Horse circuit. In the
premiere event, the all-breed maiden two year old western
pleasure, the total purse was $18,000. Monica Baker won the
class on Elite Le Zipped Up, taking home $10,000 for first place
and additional prizes for the highest placing female rider, and
the highest placing
paint horse shown.
